You're absolutely right — even carrots can sometimes leave stains on silicone within hours, and we understand how upsetting it is when those stains don't come out easily. This is a known characteristic of silicone material, but we know that doesn't make it any less frustrating when it happens to you.
We would like to offer you a couple of stronger cleaning methods that have helped many of our customers:
Soak in hydrogen peroxide overnight – This is often the most effective method. Simply submerge the stained part in hydrogen peroxide and leave it for 12–24 hours, then rinse thoroughly.
Boiling in water with lemon or vinegar – Sometimes boiling the stained item for 10–15 minutes with a slice of lemon or a splash of vinegar can help lift the stains.
